Connor Towns is a freelance musician based in Central Texas. He enjoys teaching, performing, recording, and composing within a diverse repertoire.

Connor is a former Fellow with the Henry Mancini Institute, a Presser Scholar, and worked with the Donna E. Shalala MusicReach Program in Miami Florida in addition to his private consulting. In 2020, he graduated from the Frost School of Music with a Masters Degree in Trumpet Performance. In 2018, Connor graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas State University with a Bachelors in Music Education, student-teaching at Leander ISD.

His private studio is filled with musicians of all ages and experience levels, and students have found multiple successes in music literacy, All-Region auditions, and entry into University-Level Music programs to name a few. 

Connor has studied trumpet under Craig Morris, Keith Winking, Bob Cannon, and John Kennedy, and has studied composing under Michael Ippolito and Shawn Crouch.
